Ruth Langsford reaches out to support Eamonn Holmes after his co-host is replaced with no explanation
RUTH Langsford made a supportive gesture towards her estranged husband Eamonn Holmes after he was separated from his work wife.
Broadcaster Eamonn, 65, was blindsided by GBNews' decision to seemingly drop Isabel Webster, whom he has presented the station's breakfast show with for three years.
Today Isabel shared a snap alongside Eamonn on social media and wrote: "Final show from us for 2024. Thanks for your company this year. See you soon! Merry Christmas - I hope you all find some peace and joy."
It was liked by Ruth, 64.
The olive branch comes after Eamonn reached out to Ruth as she cares for her mother Joan, 93. following a fall.
Ruth wrote on Instagram: “Hospital visit… thank you all so much for your lovely messages and well wishes for my darling Mum.

From January, Ellie Costello will co-host GBN Breakfast five days a week, presenting alongside Eamonn on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Former Sky News presenter Stephen Dixon will anchor on Thursday and Friday alongside Ellie.
