CELEBRITY Traitors bosses are hoping to tempt Danny Dyer into lying and deceiving as part of the all-star cast.
The BBC has been in talks with the ex-EastEnder about joining Claudia Winkleman’s murder mystery game.
The straight-talking Londoner, 47, has repeatedly turned down reality TV offers from the likes of Strictly and I’m A Celebrity.
But BBC bosses are desperate to get him on the star-spangled version of the hit show being recorded in the spring.
A source said: “Danny Dyer is a reality TV booker’s dream signing but for years has turned down every offer.
“He’s a huge character who effortlessly creates telly magic without even trying, so Traitors bosses have been pursuing Danny hard. They’re doing everything they can to get the deal over the line.”

He could line up alongside other stars including Stephen Fry, Tom Daley, Clare Balding and Alan Carr. The dad of three previously said of I’m A Celebrity: “I understand why some people do it, because they need their profile raised, or some have got a big tax bill
“But I’ve never quite understood why I would want to let Ant and Dec take the p*** out of me for f***ing three weeks.”
A BBC spokesperson said: “The Traitors is a game that includes lies and deception, thus it would be foolhardy for any Faithful to speculate before the game has begun.”
A third series of the non-celeb version of The Traitors starts on New Year’s Day.
