TOWIE fans have branded one of the Christmas special scenes "uncomfortable" and begged producers to step in.

In last night's festive Towie show Joe Blackman and Junaid Ahmed's feud with Harry Derbidge reached boiling point.

Joe and Junaid stunned fans earlier this year when they got together following Joe's year-long relationship with Harry.

And it seems things between the three of them are still not great as during a cast meal they ended up screaming at each other across the table.

After Joe savagely insisted the reason he split from Harry was because he "didn't put out", fans took to social media to slam the scenes.

One wrote: "Got to say, this episode was uncomfortable to watch. If this was all done for entertainment then it is not a great look."

Another said: "This is awful, I feel so bad for @mrharryderbidge here! So personal! It's worrying... I hope towie producers are looking after him making sure he's okay?"

And a third added: "This was shocking."

Shortly after the episode aired Junaid took to social media with swipe at some of his co-stars.

Alongside a loved-up snap of him and Joe, he wrote: "Tonight's ep was a hard watch. Just want to say thank you for everyone that has sent us love & support it's truly much appreciated.

"You really do see people's true colours in the ep & how they made me and Joe feel.

"Never have I experienced what we did on that dinner table, and the way people treated us.

"It's only made us stronger than ever & forever grateful for the support."

Ahead of the awkward dinner it didn't take Joe long to make a savage dig at his ex Harry.

He told the group: "We’re so much happier now. With Junaid I can be 100 per cent myself and not feel like I’ve got to be careful of what I say and what I don’t say.”
