TV fans shocked as two huge Brit stars turn up to Christmas lights switch on – and dance in the streets with locals

TV fans were left stunned with they spotted two iconic stars dancing with locals at a Christmas light switch on.

The TV icons were far away from home too with them being spotted enjoying the festivities of celebrations in the sunnier climates of Spain.

Pals and co-stars Alan Carr and Amanda Holden were spotted among revellers in Calle Larios, Malaga during filming for their upcoming TV show, Alan & Amanda's Spanish Job.

Stunned onlookers watched as the pair got themselves involved with the heart of the action as they danced and sang along to Christmas hits.

The crowds welcomed them with open arms as they were seen snapping pics of the pair as they bopped along to Mariah Carey's classic Christmas hit All I Want For Christmas.

Camera crews could be seen recording as the showbiz duo were surrounded by hundreds of Spanish locals at the event.

Amanda could be seen wearing a fluffy white jacket as she partied the night away whilst Alan could be seen donning his trademark specs for their unexpected outing.

Surprised onlookers could be seen open-mouthed with many of them recognising the pair from their many TV endeavours.

Amanda and Alan are quickly cementing themselves as one of TV's most popular duo's.

Following the runaway success of their BBC property renovation series, the duo have been working closely with one another ever since.

News of their Spanish spin-off was first revealed at the start of the year when it was confirmed the pair would be fixing-up their third property after previous adventures in Tuscany and Sicilly.

They recently bagged another huge job when they took over from Bradley Walsh as the hosts of this year's Royal Variety Performance.

Screened on ITV, the decision to pick Amanda and Alan to host was understood to be very telling amid reports that ITV want to poach the pair and their recent travel series successes on the Beeb.

Amanda is viewed by ITV as a home-grown star after appearing on drama Wild at Heart in 2006, before becoming a BGT judge.

But in recent years she has been doing increasing amounts of work with the BBC, Channel 4 and Sky.

Meanwhile, Alan has similarly flitted between networks after fronting his Chatty Man chat show on Channel 4 from 2009 to 2017.

He made two series of his autobiographical drama Changing Ends for ITV as well as gameshow ­Picture Slam and Interior Design Masters, both for BBC One.
