EMMERDALE star Daisy Campbell opened up about "grieving" after shock axing.
The soap actress, 21, announced in October that bosses had decided to write her out of the ITV soap after 13 years.
She explained: "It wasn’t my choice to leave Emmerdale and it was a shock at first.
"Being in Emmerdale is all I have ever known. I’ve spent the whole of my childhood growing up in the soap and it felt daunting."
Amelia Spencer is set to leave the Dales later this month, but the actress has already filmed her final scenes.
Her exit storyline will center around Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) and the conclusion of her harrowing abuse ordeal, as her abuser Tom King (James Chase) – who has also been dating Amelia – finally faces justice.

Daisy told the : "It feels really sad. It’s mixed emotions really. It’s been such a tough year, and I’ve had to deal with so much, but I was so at peace when leaving because I’ve grieved.
“I’m not only grieving for myself, it’s a character that I’ve always played, this is my first ever job from being seven, so it felt really sad.
"But then it was nice to close the door and be at peace, because I’ve just allowed it to play out as it has this year.
"But yeah, it’s really upsetting, because it’s all I’ve ever known. I mean new things and maybe new parts next year. Who knows?"

Daisy is keen to carry on acting as she continued: "I just want to see what I’m like on another set. I don’t know what that’s like. This is all I’ve ever known.
"So, next year will be the year to really push myself, which I’m really looking forward to.
"I’m really open to doing anything. I’d love to do plays. I’d love to tour. I’d love to do new dramas, films, low-budget stuff, literally anything. I just feel like the world’s my oyster."
She’s also got her sights set on a big goal outside of acting – taking to the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom.
She added: "That’s one thing I really want to do next year, because I’m a dancer.
"I’ve always danced since I was like three, and I don’t know how to do the salsa or anything, so I think that’d be cool to learn."
