Holly Willoughby jetted off on a girls' holiday with a showbiz pal, just hours before her You Bet debut.

The former This Morning star opted to snub any screening of her new ITV show in favour of a sun-filled winter break.

Holly Willoughby, 43, took to her Instagram story as she shared a picturesque sunset view.

The superstar presenter escaped the UK as she relaxed on the sun-filled beaches of Mauritius.

She was joined by several friends as she relaxed at one of the Beachcomber Hotels on a special trip.

On her stunning luxury holiday, she was joined by PR agent, Kate Lawton as they explored the Trou aux Biches resort.

She later took to her Instagram story as she celebrated the birthday of Nicole Appleton, 50, at dinner.

The former All Saints star was seen blowing out candles on a delicious looking chocolate and ice cream dessert.

She blew out kisses to all her assembled dinner guests as she felt the love from the TV presenter.

Earlier Holly was seen on a luxury speedboat out on the ocean as she enjoyed the company of her gal pals.

This comes after it was previously revealed that You Bet! has already been given a second series by ITV.

The popular game show began with Bruce Forsyth in 1988, who presented it until 1990.

But before the revival had even aired with Holly and her Dancing On Ice co-star Stephen Mulhern, 47, bosses have already given the green light to a second outing.

Comedian Rob Beckett will lead the celebrity panel along with Loose Women star Judi Love, singer Olly Murs, and England goalkeeper Mary Earps.

Other stars on the panel will include Holly's former co-star Alison Hammond, podcaster Rosie Ramsey, and I'm A Celeb's Harry Redknapp.
