"I was only there for a couple of days but if you're looking for a bit of winter sun, it was glorious!"

Paddy added: "Lovely and warm."

As Take Me Out viewers know, the Isle of Fernandos was a fictitious location where successful couples went on their dates.

In reality the dates took place in Puerto de la Cruz in Tenerife from series two onwards.

While in the first series, "Fernandos" was actually Club Bijou in Manchester.

One excited fan responded to Paddy's post: "Bring back Take me Out!!!"

While a third simply penned: "Bring back @takemeoutUK."

The show launched in January 2010 and soon developed a large fanbase - even calling for a return earlier this year.

Take Me Out aired its final ever episode in December 2019.

As part of the gameplay, all of the 30 women had a light in front of them.

Should they not want a date with the man, they turned their light off.
