Towie shock as on-off couple are back together for Christmas special – despite star quitting UK for new boyfriend

VIEWERS watching The Only Way Is Essex this Christmas will be surprised to see one couple reunited together again.
This year's The Only Way Is Essex Christmas special will see Dan Edgar and on-off again girlfriend Ella Rae Wise reunited.

The scenes come as last time viewers saw the pair they were very much apart and had seemed to call time on their relationship.
Pictures from the festive special see the pair hugging and looking closer once again in front of a Christmas tree.
Despite sharing time on screen, it's not likely the pair will have their relationship back on track as Ella is now thought to be dating someone new.
Last month it was confirmed that Ella had moved on and is now seeing a millionaire's son after her shock split from Dan.

The reality star is said to have grown close to north London lad and wealthy business owner Teddy Brunt, 21.
A source told us: "She might be dating Dan on-screen but off-screen Ella has moved and she’s secretly dating a very rich 21-year-old called Teddy Brunt.
"She has been in Dubai with him - she’s staying in his apartment out there.
"He is only 21 but runs his own business and is well known in the Essex circles - and his dad’s a millionaire."

This won't come as a surprise to many TOWIE fans after Dan revealed his inability to commit to Ella on the latest series of the Essex reality show.

During a chat with James "Diags" Bennewith, Dan said: "It's not that I don't feel like I could ever get to that place, I don't know if I could or couldn't.
"I just know right now at this moment, I'm not at a place where I'm thinking of this as long term thing and when I do think of it as a long term thing, I start to then close off and go back because of other previous situations.
"That's messed me up as well with it."
He then added to his friend: "Do you know what's mad about it?
"She's someone who I, well you know full well, wouldn't even have thought I'd never talk to again in my life to someone who I hold highly in my head.
"Do you know what I mean, as a person, I like her a lot but there is other stuff that needs to be spoke about, and I feel like before everyone gets carried away with it and before either of us get carried away, we need to have an honest chat about how we both feel."

EXOTIC ROMANCE
Sparks flew when Dan and Amber jetted off on a cast trip in Bali back in March.
In a flirty chat, they described their situation as two singletons having a "bit of fun".
Awkwardly, Dan's ex Amber Turner was on the same trip but, surprisingly, she took him to one side and gave the burgeoning romance her blessing.
CHEATING CLAIMS
Dan was accused of having a fling with his ex-girlfriend Hannah Rally behind Ella Rae's back while on holiday in Dubai.
Ella Rae was said to be furious by Dan's actions and is said to have made her feelings known to Hannah.
BITTER FEUD
Ella Rae and Hannah engaged in a social media spat, trading digs at each other through memes and barbed comments.
The most cutting of which was saw Hannah share a post of a human hand holding up a miniature man by his genitals.
It was accompanied by the caption: "Your man was in my DMs again sis, I believe this is yours."
Hannah added: "More than dms but now you can get out of mine love @ellaraewise [kiss blowing emojis]."
SINGLE LIFE
In May, a representative for Dan told us that the Towie hunk wasn't in a relationship.
Days later Ella Rae confirmed the two had split and declared she's happy being single, telling fans in a Q&A: "Yes and happily single. Focusing on myself and my brand."
TRIP ABROAD
The Cypriot heat appears to have got the pair feeling smitten again. They've been looking close while filming scenes for the reality show and even kissed on a boozy cast night out
