I'M A Celebrity's Maura Higgins has been 'warned about Pete Wicks' - but is 'completely smitten' with the Strictly hopeful.
The two reality stars have long been linked after being spotted on cosy nights out.
They added: "It's understandable Maura was given a few words about Pete's past, but she's headstrong and she can make her own mind up.
"She doesn't take any, she knows what she's doing.
"And Pete has fallen for her completely, he can't stop thinking about her.

"They adore each other and everyone who knows them and see how happy they make each other."
During her time in the jungle, Maura, 34, has addressed the romance speculation between her and Pete.
In scenes aired on the ITV show, Maura's relationship status came up in conversation with campmate GK Barry.
The Love Island alum insisted she was single - despite having shared passionate snogs with Pete.
Confiding in GK, Maura shared: I get it in a sense because I know I was on a dating show, but it was five years ago.”
Keeping coy on her romance with Pete, she said: “You know more than me!
"No, I'm single. People can date and not be in a relationship and take things slow.
“What’s the point in getting them involved too soon, when you just don’t know where it’s gonna go, you know?”
Maura and Pete were first spotted kissing in August during a lunch date.

During her time on I'm A Celeb, Maura addressed rumours of her and Pete during a conversation with GK Barry.
She said: "You know more than me! No, I'm single. People can date and not be in a relationship and take things slow.
“What’s the point in getting them involved too soon, when you just don’t know where it’s gonna go, you know?”
Maura added: "Well we’ve already been papped, tongues down each other’s necks and we had no idea!
"The funniest part was I had a vape in one hand and a cigarette in the other, living my best life."
Meanwhile, Pete showed his support for Maura on I'm A Celebrity.
He told fans on Instagram how the Love Island alum is his pick to come first on the ITV show.
Two months on, the TV stars were spotted getting cosy while on a date at London restaurant Gloria.
Days before flying out to Australia for I'm A Celeb, Maura and Pete were photographed on a date night at the London Palladium.
With both approaching the final stages of their competitions, will either claim victory?
