Married At First Sight UK bosses forced to step in and cut violent scenes from show after contestant threatens rival
MARRIED At First Sight UK bosses were forced to step in and cut violent scenes from the show, after a contestant threatened their rival.
A show insider has said that there were two occasions where producers had to talk to contestants about their behaviour on the reality show.
One of which occurred at a dinner party, as Hannah and Holly’s huge feud rumbled on.
Holly and Hannah hadn’t seen eye to eye during their time on the show, after Holly confronted her over how she was acting with the other guys, despite being married to Stephen.
Hannah and Stephen hit the rocks during their honeymoon and failed to get it back on track weeks after.
But in scenes not shown to E4 viewers, the girls’ row reached a new level which led to Holly being told off for “aggressive” behaviour.

A show insider told The Sun: “Holly and Hannah were screaming at each other for quite a while, and Holly was saying ‘get round here.’
“She said ‘I’ll f****** floor you, come here and let me show you what I’m made of, I’ll wipe the floor with you’
“Then she got told off by producers for her comments and at the commitment ceremony Paul ended up saying to her ‘you were really aggressive and we’re not ok with it.’”
The insider continued: “Holly said ‘yeah I know it was wrong’ and she then apologised to producers but Paul was like ‘Ok so you’re not apologising to Hannah which makes no sense as you’ve just admitted you’re wrong.’
“Holly said she didn’t think she needed to apologise.”
And that wasn’t the only unseen incident to take place on the show, according to the insider, as another dramatic development saw a wine glass thrown at a contestant.
Viewers will have seen Polly showering her then husband Adam with red wine after tense words were exchanged over the dinner table.
It came after their final vows concluded without a definitive decision being made.
They then locked horns in a blazing row that saw Adam declare "we had sex three times in 10 weeks."
Mafs 2025 reunion
When is the Married At First Sight reunion episode?
The exact date for the Married At First Sight reunion is yet to be confirmed, but 2024 series cast member Adam has hinted that it's set to place in February 2025.
In an interview with fashion brand House of Cavani, the reality star said: "It's not out yet but it'll come out in Feb."
Polly was furious about him sharing intimate details in front of the group and showered him red wine.
But the show insider reveals that as well as the wine, the glass was also thrown by Polly, but it was never shown.
They went on: “Polly threw the glass at Adam’s face - she threw the wine then stopped for a second then threw the glass in his face which luckily Adam dodged and it smashed all over the floor. She got in a lot of trouble for it.”
A rep for MAFS UK has issued the following statement: "Polly and Adam's argument is shown in the programme.
"The wellbeing of the contributor is of paramount importance and producers will step in should they witness any unacceptable behaviour."
After weeks of dramatic dinner parties, the show will air one final reunion episode for this year’s series.
And The Sun can reveal Polly refused to film recently for the special, which is set to air in 2025.
An insider said: "Polly didn't attend the filming of the recent special, which will air in 2025, as she couldn't face seeing Adam again.

"She has worked really hard on herself and her mental health since filming, and couldn't bear the thought of reopening old wounds.
"Polly also copped a lot of backlash for her behaviour on the show, especially when she threw a glass of wine in Adam's face, and she didn't want to be put in a situation again where she might be cast in a negative light."
