GARDENER'S WORLD star Monty Don has given worried fans a health update following an expected hospital dash.
The health issue resulted in him cancelling six shows around the country but he's back on the road again.
The much-loved presenter posted a video message on Instagram to update his fans and said he’d ended up hooked to drips in A&E.
But he didn’t give any more details about what caused him to be kept in hospital and explained it away as an unexpected drama.
In a post on instagram he said: “Tonight I am in Edinburgh at the Usher Hall for the last night of this tour.
"Last week’s hiccup was a bit of unexpected drama but it has been fun and all the audiences have been fantastic.”

In the previous video message regarding his cancelled shows, he explained: "I’m so sorry to have disappointed all those people who are going to come and see me in Exeter and Truro and Bath and Nottingham.
"But on Friday afternoon, I was rushed to A&E.
“I was kept in the hospital, uh, over Saturday, Sunday and Monday. I had some drips and all the rest of it.
"But I came home last night. I’m feeling much better. I’m going to spend the next few days quietly recuperating here at home and hopefully by the weekend, I’ll be back to for fitness.”

December gardening jobs
The Sun's Gardening Editor, Veronica Lorraine, shared the gardening tasks you need to do in the final month of the year.
"Bare root season has started - so get your fruit trees like plums, apples and pears, in the ground now. Bare root are cheaper and establish quickly.
Spend some time cleaning, oiling and sharpening your tools - you’ll thank yourself later. And carefully clean your lawn mower - get rid of all the gunk stuck to the bottom.
Onion bulbs can go in the ground - in fact Boxing Day is a traditional day for getting the seeds going - and garlic and broadbeans in if you haven’t got them in,
Prevent your pond from freezing with a tennis ball on the surface. You can place a hot pan on the surface if its frozen over and you’ve got fish.
Reduce your houseplant watering - but get in a Christmas Cactus - they’re a great all year round houseplant which blooms in December.
It's the main pruning time for grape vines if you’ve lost control over the summer. Cut back and tie in.
It's a good month to get hard landscaping done - so you’re not putting all your plants at risk as you traipse around the muddy garden in heavy boots."
But another fan in relation to his recent ill health cheekily posted: "Glad to see it’s not you up that ladder!"
Monty will be glad to be back on the stage as he obviously felt awful disappointing his fans.
And going by audience feedback, his tour is a massive success.
