The announcement came after radio DJ Melvin Odoom became the fourth person to leave the jungle.

Leaving the big twist right until they final few minutes of the show, Dec said to: "We are not reopening the vote for tomorrow because we've got a massive surprise for them. More will be revealed in tomorrow's show."

Whilst it puts a hold on celebrities going home, it's left many viewers wondering what this could mean for the ITV show and what the "massive surprise" could be.

Taking to X, one fan shared their theory as they wrote: "No vote tomorrow because Houdini is returning" meaning to axed contestant Dean McCullough.

Another fan predicted: "The twist is definitely either no one’s out (which I doubt) or camp vote but camp vote kinda seems obvious."

A third fan shared their thoughts: "What’s this surprise twist? The campers can vote against each other over the normal public vote."

"The big surprise will probably be a free for all head to head and the bottom either go or go up for a quick vote. That's my prediction anyway,” added a fourth.

With fans predicting an axed star could be returning, Dean has been named as the favourite by viewers to rejoin the group.

With the twist left as a "massive surprise" fans wondered and worried what no public vote could mean until host of I'm A Celebrity! UNPACKED Joel Dommett explained what was coming up for the camp.

He revealed in the spin off show that the reason there would be no public vote is because instead the celebrities would be battling it out for tokens.

Whichever celebs win the tokens will make themselves exempt from the next two vote-offs, and will make it to the Celebrity Cyclone challenge.

The hiatus for the public vote comes as Melvin Odoom joins Tulisa Contostavlos, Dean McCullough and Jane Moore as the celebrities now out of camp.

Speaking to Ant and Dec, Melvin reflected on his time in the jungle camp.

He said: "I was ready to go. The best thing about that camp is the people, I loved every single person in there.

"Oti's my girl, Danny, Bazza, he's got a voice on him."

Melvin said living in the jungle was "difficult" but he found positives in the daily routine.
