Christmas Eve

Doctor Who At The Proms airs 4.10pm on Christmas Eve on BBC Two.

Doctor Who fans are in for another treat this Christmas as BBC Two airs a special from the Proms at the Royal Albert Hall. The proms were hosted by Catherine Tate and featured Ncuti Gatwa, Jinkx Monsoon, Nicholas Briggs & Anita Dobson. Out of these guest stars, only Anita Dobson made an in-person appearance.

The Repair Shop Christmas Special on Christmas Eve at 8.15pm.

TikTok Top 100 airs Christmas Eve at 9.15pm on ITV1.

Christmas Day

The Weakest Link Christmas Special airs Christmas Day at 3:10pm.

Romesh Ranganathan hosts festive episodes of The Weakest Link starring Shaun Ryder, Kerry Katona, Phil Tufnell, Sally Lindsay, Big Has, Tim Vine, Heather Peace and Indiyah Polack.

Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special airs at 3.55pm on Christmas Day.

Josh Widdicombe, Drag artist Tayce, Vogue Williams, Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, Tamzin Outhwaite and Billy Monger will compete for the festive glitterball trophy in front of the returning judges Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke and Shirley Ballas.

Doctor Who: Joy To The World airs at 5.10pm on Christmas Day on BBC One.

Derry Girls and Bridgerton star Nicola Coughlan joins Ncuti Gatwa for a time-hopping adventure this Christmas. Nicola plays the titular Joy, who checks into a London hotel only to find her quiet stay is going to be anything but after she opens a secret doorway to the Time Hotel.

Wallace and Gromit airs Christmas Day at 6:10pm on BBC One.

The final ever episode of Gavin and Stacey will give fans the long-awaited conclusion to its cliffhanger ending to the 2019 special.

Blankety Blank Christmas Special will be on the telly this Boxing Day at 7.35pm.

Stars including Jane McDonald, Joel Dommett, Jonathan Ross, Oti Mabuse, Sara Pascoe and The Vivienne will join host Bradley Walsh.

Tune in for Call The Midwife Christmas Special at 8.15pm on BBC One.

The stars of the original much-loved series are returning for the special including Hugh Dennis as dad Pete, Claire Skinner as mum Sue, Tyger Drew-Honey as eldest son Jake, Daniel Roche as the middle child Ben, and Ramona Marquez as the daughter, Karen for a chaotic family Christmas.

Outnumbered special airs Boxing Day at 9:15pm on BBC One.

The BBC sitcom is back, eight years after its last episode.
The special episode will follow the chaos in the downsized home of Pete and Sue Brockman, as they grapple with the challenges of parenting kids who are now adults, with their own lives to lead.

Pictionary with Mel Giedroyc Thursday 26th December on ITV1.

The iconic boardgame has been turned into a new show, hosted be the delightful Mel, and sees two teams battle against each other.
Mel will be joined by two celebrity team captains who will lead their teams of contestants. Their mission is to draw images to match a word or phrase from a specific category and the teammates will have to guess correctly to score points.

EastEnders is on at 10pm on Boxing Day.

New Year's Day telly includes Gladiators: Celebrity Special at 6.30pm on ITV.

The Traitors returns for its third series at 8pm on BBC One.
