The Yorkshire Auction House to return for sixth series – as two spin offs also get bumper new deal
STV have announced that the hit TV show The Yorkshire Auction House is to return for a sixth series alongside two spin off shows.
The series has everything from human interest stories to the thrill of live auctions and fascinating stories behind the collectibles.
Fan favourite, The Yorkshire Auction House will see auctioneer, Angus Ashworth, travel across the UK in a new sixth season.
As always, he will be clearing homes of unique treasures, whilst discovering the stories behind the people who owned them.
Fans of the show who like their antiques with some added glitter and star power can also look forward to the return of Celebrity Yorkshire Auction House in 2025.
In this spin off, Angus helps famous faces clear their homes of clutter as he hunts through their cupboards for forgotten heirlooms before auctioning their once-prized possessions.
Antique shows
In a previous series, Angus was invited to rummage around Craig Revel Horwood's home much to the delight of Strictly fans.
Discussing the items he salvaged from Craig's house, the expert added: "Obviously, we had to get a mirrored disco ball. That is very Craig.
"But there was his name in lights. There was this amazing mirrored chair in the form of a face that is used in a lot of publicity and that sort of stuff."
When it came to the auction, Angus admitted the mirrored disco ball fetched hundreds of pounds.

"The Strictly disco ball fetched a lot of money," the expert said.
"A normal mirrored disco ball, I'm sure you can pick them up fairly cheaply.
"But the fact it was Craig's, that's so iconic to him. They fetched a lot of money."
Other celebrities that have appeared in the show, include Brian Conley, Colin Jackson, Vanessa Feltz and Edwina Currie.
On hearing the news, Angus said: “If you’d told me when we launched this show in 2021 that I’d still be here, multiple series and spin-offs later.
"And still absolutely loving helping celebrities and members of the public clear their homes to turn unwanted items into money, I’m not sure I’d have believed you."

Viewers will see in series two that the stakes are higher than ever for Irita’s business to continue to survive and thrive past its first year.
Irita Marriott said: “Oh my goodness, I’m over the moon to be returning with a second series of The Derbyshire Auction House next year.
"Viewers of the first series will know that opening my auction house involved just a little blood, sweat and tears – and trust me, that doesn’t end once the cameras stop rolling!
“That said, this has been one of the most exciting projects of my life, and meeting all the fabulous people who take part in the show makes it all the more rewarding. I can’t wait to strike the gavel on round 2!”
Craig Hunter, Creative Director of STV Studios Factual, said: “This is a brilliant vote of confidence in the Auction House franchise from Warner. Bros Discovery.
"We’re delighted to be back in production with three new series of what has proven to be a winning format.
“It’s fantastic that Angus’ excellent work on The Yorkshire Auction House and its celebrity spin-off continues to delight viewers.
