I'M A Celebrity's Alan Halsall has tipped Coleen Rooney for a Coronation Street role after the duo won 10 stars for camp in a gross trial.

Alan, 42, suggested that Coleen, 38, could have a future on the cobbles after being impressed by her acting skills during their time in the I’m jungle.

In tonight's installment, the pair took on The Farmyard of Fear trial - where they were tasked with moving “jungle nasties” across a makeshift set to secure stars for meals.

Alan, who has played Tyrone Dobbs on Corrie since 1998, and WAG Coleen gave it their all and managed to complete the trial with just one minute to spare.

They successfully earned a full 10 stars for their campmates.

Despite their achievement, Alan and Coleen decided to play a prank on camp.

On their way back to camp, they hatched a plan to pretend they had only secured two stars, intending to reveal the truth when dinner arrived.

Coleen joked, “I’ll do my best acting skills, you can mark me out of ten!”

Alan responded with a laugh, saying, “I’ll be getting you a job in Coronation Street before you know it!”

He added, “She’ll be the barmaid of the Rovers Return before you know it!”

Tensions ran high in tonight's Bushtucker Trial as they teamed up to transport the likes of rotten eggs to win stars for camp.

Alan used a plastic container around his neck to dump the disgusting loads into a wheelbarrow below.

Coleen then used her hands to transfer it from the wheelbarrow into a metal bath.

More weight in the bath meant more stars for camp.

Which is why a misunderstanding between the two stars caused Alan to moan.

He ended up wasting a load after calling out to Coleen - who was so busy transfering rotten eggs into the bath she didn't hear him.

Alan quipped: "I said 'I'm coming at you!'"

Unsurprisingly, hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly found the whole thing very amusing.

In Sunday's episode, the campmates got letters from their friends and family.

Coleen had messages from her husband Wayne and their four sons Kai, Klay, Kit and Cass read out by Dean McCullough.

One of the children said: "One thing I’m not missing is you shouting at me to get up in the morning, we might need to work on that!” adding "I’m so proud to call you my mum".

Wayne's letter to his wife said: "Coleen, I have never missed you so much in my life. You’re doing amazing and showing everyone your character of what a wonderful, humble woman you are.
