It came as Londoner Anthony introduced himself to the celebrity panel

The Wheel hopeful arrived and promptly introduced himself to the celebrity panel sitting in the circle.

Michael, 48, exclaimed: “Anthony, you have the most amazing smile!” as he waved to the famous faces, who had all chosen to be an ‘expert’ in a specific subject.

As he met AJ, 36, she said: “You alright? How are you?”

He replied: “I’m really good thanks, how are you?” to which she responded: “I’m really good thanks.”

Sensing the back-and-forth chat was set to continue, Michael said: “Alright you two, calm down!

“What is going on here?”

This left both Anthony and AJ in fits of giggles before Michael added: “Instant chemistry on this wheel.”

Yet things took a turn when Anthony dished detail about himself.

He told how he is a London-based virtual reality manager who, in his spare time, plays football and trains his church team.

Michael asked him what he would do with a Wheel win to which he replied: “I’ve recently been engaged.

“So I will be using the money for my wedding, fingers crossed, if I win some good money.

“I’d also put a nice chunk towards a family holiday as I’m one of 11 siblings, so I’d like to take the whole family somewhere nice and warm, cause they’re all scattered all over the world.

“It would be nice for everyone to come together.”

And Anthony did in fact see his wish come true – scooping a bumper £72,000 total in the closing round.
