Former Bond star teams up with Helen Mirren and Tom Hardy for new Guy Ritchie series
GUY Ritchie’s new global crime series will star Tom Hardy and Helen Mirren alongside a former Bond actor.
The exciting new show which centres around two warring Irish crime families is currently filming in London.
Former Bond star Pierce Brosnan and Oscar winning actor Helen play powerful husband and wife team Conrad and Maeve Harrigan.
As a couple they are head of one of the most successful organised Irish crime families in London.
Meanwhile Tom plays Harry Da Souza, a professional conciliator on behalf of the Harrigan family.
The synopsis describes the show as: "two warring families based in London whose enterprises stretch all corners of the globe and the fiercely loyal “fixer” charged with protecting one of them at all costs."
Crime drama
Chris McCarthy, Paramount Global Co-CEO said: "Tom, Pierce, and Helen are masters at their craft and we are honoured to have them lead the cast."
Jeff Grossman, Executive Vice President of programming for Paramount+ explained that the firepower on and off the screen will deliver exactly what audiences expect.
In addition to his on-screen role, Tom is signed on to executive produce the series alongside Guy and Irish screenwriter Ronan Bennett, who created the hit crime drama Top Boy.
Tom recently reprised his role of Eddie Brock and Venom in the sequel Venom: Let There Be Carnage.

He is also expected to star as the Antarctic explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton in a biopic which will cover one of the most brutal stories of survival in exploration history.
Helen recently played Cara Dutton in the Yellowstone spinoff 1923, which also featured another former Bond star Timothy Dalton.
Last year she played the narrator in Greta Gerwig's hit comedy film Barbie.
Pierce - who played 007 from 1995-2002 - joined Adam Devine in the Netflix action-comedy film The Out-Laws last year.
He also starred as King Louis XIV in the family adventure film The King's Daughter.
He also led the 2023 hitman thriller film Fast Charlie where he played a fixer and hitman for a mob boss named Stan.
Pierce and Helen have just finished working together on the set of The Thursday Murder Club, a film based on the novel by Richard Osman.
Guy's most recent TV show was The Gentleman about a man who tries to sell his marijuana business, which triggers a chain reaction response from various criminals.

Earlier this year, it was announced that he would direct the Amazon Prime Video television series Young Sherlock, based on the Young Sherlock Holmes series of young adult novels by Andy Lane.
The new crime series, which doesn't have a name yet, is expected to air in 2025
