MELVIN Odoom broke a huge jungle rule on tight's edition of I'm A Celebrity.

The radio presenter attempted to communicates with the outside world on the ITV show.

Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly made their way into the camp to announce who would be participating in the next trial.

The long-time presenting duo revealed which three celebrities would go head-to-head in the 'Rank Bank' challenge.

As always, Ant and Dec went around the different celebrities one by one as they learned their fate.

Our very own Jane Moore found out that she was sadly not one of the celebrities chosen to face the creepy crawlies.

Then it was the turn of Melvin Odoom, 44, to find out if he was amongst the stars to be selected by viewers.

However, he broke a huge reality TV rule when it was his time to hear the results of the secret online poll.

After Dec said the words: "It's not you," Melvin attempted to communicate with his mum on the outside world.

He said: "Happy Birthday Mum!", which was swiftly followed by a raise of his tin camp mug.

His fellow camp co-stars then gave a little cheer as Melvin seemed to look content with his not-so-secret message.

Viewers noticed the apparent blunder as they took to social media with their own supportive messages.

On X, formerly known as Twitter, one viewer exclaimed: "Happy birthday, Melvin's mum!!!!"

"Protect Melvin at all costs," stated a second.

As a third viewer said: "Melvin's little nod to his mum, happy birthday @Melvinodoom mum."

"Why am i crying at Melvin Odoom wishing his mum a happy birthday?!", asked a fourth fan.

Every time Ant and Dec announce a new trial you can cast five votes.

Later this week, vote to SAVE Jane from eviction.

While someone else wrote: "Melvin saying happy birthday to his mum," along with a crying GIF.

And a sixth user added: "That was such a smooth, nice way to say happy birthday to Melvin’s mum why am i emotional."
