NETFLIX has released a first-look at the second season of the hotly-anticipated Squid Game.
The programme will be making a return to the streaming site this Boxing Day after becoming a runaway hit for the platform three years ago.
A new first-look at the show has now teased exactly what fans can expect to see.
In the new series, fans will see Player 456 returning to the games in order to hopefully put a stop to them once and for all.
Some of the show's most memorable elements and games including the scary Red Light Green Light appear to be back for a round two.
As ever, the players are all dressed in the infamous green tracksuits and are identifiable only by a number.

At one point during the sinister games, Player 456 firmly declares: "I'm trying to put an end to this game."
Death and destruction also appears to be looming with multiple rounds of gunfire seen going off as well as the players taking their revenge by hitting back at the game's makers.
A synopsis for the upcoming series also teases: "Gi-hun once again dives into the mysterious survival game, starting another
life-or-death game with new participants gathered to win the prize of 45.6 billion won.
“Three years after winning Squid Game, Player 456 remains determined to find the people behind the game and put an end to their vicious sport.

"Using this fortune to fund his search, Gi-hun starts with the most obvious of places: look for the man in a sharp suit playing ddakji in the subway.
"But when his efforts finally yield results, the path toward taking down the organisation proves to be deadlier than he imagined: to end the game, he needs to re-enter it.”
It begs the question on just how many of the players will make it out of the game alive?
And will Player 456 finally be able to put a stop to it?
Fans have been going wild since Netflix dropped the preview and with a little over a month to go until its release, the excitement is heightening.
Writing online, one fan said: “I am so excited for the new season.”
Another added: “Post Christmas plans are made now.”
Before a third jokingly wrote: “Can’t wait to be traumatised again.”
