In Thursday's (November 21) episode, the star misspoke while discussing politeness with William Hanson, an etiquette coach and author.

William brought up how he'd noticed Jeremy writes with his left hand.

Jeremy replied: "I'm bi - is it bisexual? What is it when - ?"

Cutting in, the podcast host responded: "I don't know if you're bisexual.

"You could be, I don't know Jeremy."

Referring to what he'd thought the host meant, William added: "Ambidextrous."

However, Jeremy clarified that term doesn't exactly fit as he "can't use both hands for everything."

He explained: "I write left handed, but I would play table tennis right handed.

"I think that might be bidextrous.

Jeremy Vine vanishes from Channel 5 show in hosting shake up - and fans have the same thing to say about his replacement Channel 5

"It's really boring, actually."

Earlier this year, a recording of the star's Channel 5 daytime programme was thrown into chaos.

A fire alarm forced the show to go off air while the studio was evacuated.

Meanwhile, viewers were left stunned in January when Jeremy brazenly branded a caller ‘weird’ live on TV.

Stephen from Coventry called into the programme to talk about recycling, however he ended up going on a political rant.

An unimpressed Jeremy then said: "Do you know this is a guy who always rings up.

"He uses a really tenuous connection and therefore he puts, did you even hear it? It was just like .... Okay, thank you, Stephen."
