Top reality show accused of not paying stars and treating talent ‘like volunteers’
MADE IN Chelsea has been accused of not paying its cast.
Gorgeous Minja Vuletic, an extra employed by an external agency, has been chasing her fee for over a year and said talent on the long-running Channel 4 reality show were made to feel like “volunteers”.
She said: “The agency have ghosted me - they haven’t replied to any of my emails.
“The last time I was able to speak to them they just tell you you’re going to get paid - ‘eventually’.”
Minja, who appeared on the BAFTA-winning programme in the summer of 2023 said she is waiting on hundreds of pounds.
She added: “I was treated like a volunteer - I was thinking about legal but it’s probably not worth it for the money.

“They were like ‘oh trust us you’re going to get paid’ - no one is taking any responsibility whatsoever.”
The show’s production company Monkey Kingdom parted ways with the casting agency who hired Minja earlier this year.
A rep for Monkey Kingdom said: “We have set standards that we expect all individuals and companies we work with to uphold, and we take appropriate action if those standards are not met.
“We were made aware of an issue with a third-party agency responsible for hiring and paying individuals appearing on the show as supporting artists, and we are committed to rectifying the situation.”
