AMANDA Holden has broken her silence on replacing Bradley Walsh as co-host of the Royal Variety Show - admitting she's "terrified".
The Britain's Got Talent judge, 53, will take to the stage with her "TV husband" and host of the 2021 ceremony, Alan Carr, 48.
Speaking on her breakfast radio show this morning after the news broke, Amanda said: "We are hosting the Royal Variety Show 2024, we’re filming it this Friday, and we are just terrified."
Jamie Theakston told her: "This is a big moment."
Amanda agreed, adding: "It feels like a pinnacle of my career, I’m not going to lie.
"I’ve been fortunate enough to perform at the Royal Variety in Thoroughly Modern Millie before in front of Her Majesty The Queen, the late Queen."

Jamie replied: "You and Alan, I can’t think of any other people that are just perfect to host it.
"You’ve got that little thing between you and I just think it’s going to be great."
Amanda said: "Oh you're sweet. Well, we are honoured and flattered and terrified.
"He sent me a picture yesterday, he was walking past it and he just went 'gulp' and I’m like 'stop it! Stop winding me up!'"
