Love Island couple go Instagram official after weeks of rumours they’re dating

LOVE Island star Ron Hall has revealed he is in a new relationship with a fellow Islander.

Ron, who split from Lana Jenkins in July 2023, has now moved on with series nine star Lydia Karakyriakou.

The former finance advisor, 27, posed for loved-up snaps with glam influencer Lydia.

He captioned it: "Well ain’t these just lovely pictures."

Ron's close friends were quick to comment on his new relationship.

Ex-Islander Kai Fagan wrote: "Omg finally a soft launch, so happy you and @lydiakarax have gone official."

Luca Bish commented: "Happy for you bro."

While this fan posted: "Can’t wait to see more of you both together now, adorable couple."

Another added: "Deserve to be happy," with a love heart emoji.

Ron and Lana, who met on the winter series of the show in 2023, called it quits just three months after leaving the show.

Ron revealed that the break-up took a toll on him and said he struggled to bounce back.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun, Ron said: "I will never do a dating show again, I will never have a relationship in the public eye again because I think it ruins it.

"It played a part in mine and Lana's relationship.

"I think relationship programmes are quite forced and it doesn't happen naturally, it's great and it works.

"It worked for me because I didn't expect to fall in love. But I think sometimes it can play with peoples feelings too much."

Ron said that he is still good friends with Lana despite their public split and still cheers her on from a distance.

He said: "Me and Lana are really good, we chat every now and again. She's just done an amazing collab, I'm so proud of her.

"She's smashing it, I can't tell you how proud I am of her, doing her thing, what she said she wanted to do.

"She's killing it and it's nice to know that the good ones out there are getting the things they want.

"It's difficult, every now and again you might say congrats or you might see her somewhere.

"But it's always going to be difficult, we don't talk everyday because lets be honest it would be hard to do.

"But it's not like a typical ex where you hate each other, we didn't."

While Lydia was a Casa Amor bombshell in 2023.

She joined the show alongside six other new girls in the South African villa.

Lydia entered the villa on Day 29 and was dumped from the island on Day 32.
