But on Coronation Street it seems that moment has finally come for the soap's long-running viewers.

Next week, Nick (Ben Price) will decide to come clean about the details of his relationship with Toyah (Georgia Taylor) to Leanne.

But before he can do so, a police officer will arrive and break the sad news that Leanne’s (Jane Danson) dad, Les, has died at work.

Leanne will be left utterly shocked as she will head to find her sister to tell her the news, however Nick will quickly call Toyah to give her warning.

The sisters share a hug in a surprise move of unity as they come together in their moment of grief.

However, it soon becomes apparent that Toyah already knew the news and she will leave Leanne confused once again as she admits that Nick called her.

Nick will make out that he simply called Toyah about an enquiry with the Bistro rota and the news just accidentally slipped out.

Toyah will once again leap to the defence of Nick as Leanne will become even more suspicious.

Looking to find out more, she will open Nick's laptop only to find the booking for the holiday in Tenerife.

Leanne will then call the hotel to get to the bottom of her sisters actions.

Later on, Chesney (Sam Aston) will also be left feeling stressed as he continues to struggle with his financial situation.

He and Gemma (Dolly-Rose Campbell) are still struggling to make ends meet, and with five kids to feed and dress, life is taking its toll.

The kebab shop worker will then open up to Bernie (Jane Hazlegrove) about his relationship with Les, admitting they weren’t that close.
