COLEEN Rooney's I'm A Celeb struggle has been revealed by her friend Danielle Lloyd, who gave away the 'real reason' she signed up this year.

The famed WAG, 38, is taking on the challenge of living in the ITV camp for the next three weeks, trading in the glitz and glam of her Cheshire mansion for Bushtucker trials and a hammock.

But it won't come without some emotional hurdles, with model Danielle, 40, predicting homesickness will be the mum-of-five's biggest test.

When asked what she'll struggle with the most in camp, Danielle told : "Missing her kids. She will really struggle with that.

"She will constantly be thinking, 'Are they OK? They’ve got football tonight and something else on tomorrow…,' so that part will be tough for her."

Danielle added that footballing legend Wayne and their children Kai, 15, Klay, 13, Kit, eight, and Cass, six, might jet Down Under to greet her at the end of the famous bridge when she leaves.

On why she's agreed to take part, the Celebrity Big Brother alum shared that Coleen has been looking to take the challenge for a while, but has been held back by her mum duties.

Danielle continued: "It’s also a good time because people have warmed to her since she released her 'Wagatha Christie' trial documentary. They got to know her a bit better through that.

"Before that, I think she might have been a bit nervous about what people would think of her."

During last night's premiere, Coleen gave a rare insight into her relationship with Wayne around the campfire.

In a cheeky swipe at her man, the author revealed that while Wayne fell for her straight away when they met as teenagers, she didn't feel the same way initially.

During a chat with fellow celebs GK Barry, Oti Mabuse and The Sun's own Jane Moore, Coleen was quizzed about her other half.

Oti asked whether it was "love at first sight" when the pair met.

Coleen, who has been with Wayne since she was 16, replied: “No, it was for him, not for me. He fought to get me, yeah."

She continued: "I waited until I’d done my GCSEs and then I went on a date. I was pretty good at school.”

She also surprised her campmates by revealing that the pair's first kiss was in an unusual location.

“We had a kiss behind the church first,” she admitted, recalling their first lip lock before heading on an initial date to the cinema.

Coleen made her entrance on the show last night with the second batch of celebrities as the campmates were split into two groups.

Coleen was in the group who met on the beach, alongside Corrie Star Alan Halsall, TV Presenter & DJ Melvin Odoom, boxer Barry McGuigan and podcaster GK Barry.

They were soon joined by the first group - former Strictly pro Oti Mabuse, X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos, Radio 1 DJ Dean McCullough, Loose Women star Jane and McFly singer Danny Jones. - who made their mark skydiving out of helicopters.

Once everyone was on solid ground, the celebs had to pick a star from the other group to pair up with.

Coleen wound up being picked by Dean, who wasted no time bringing up the Wagatha Christie drama.

"Wagatha Christie you’re coming with me!” Dean announced as he picked his partner.

While Coleen and Dean battled to become the first camp leaders, however, it was actually Tulisa and Alan who won the race to get to camp.

As well as getting to stay in Leader's Lodge, the pair got to choose which twosome should face the first trial.

Tulisa and Alan decided Danny and Barry would be the unlucky duo to face The Mausoleum of Misery.
