Watch awkward moment Josh Widdecombe is grilled on how much he is being paid for Strictly Christmas special
JOSH Widdecombe faced an awkward grilling on how much he's being paid for the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special.
Comedian Josh was the first star confirmed to be taking part in the festive Strictly episode which airs on Christmas Day.
During an appearance on Saturday Kitchen he opened up about signing up for the show and was asked to spill the beans on his fee.
Host Matt Tebbutt asked Josh how it was going so far and he replied: "It's going well.
"I'm loving it, I think. I don't know. I thought I was going to be terrible and I'm just bad."
Chef Niklas Ekstedt was also on the show and chimed in: "Do they pay you for doing that?"

Swerving the question, Josh said: "On a TV show, that's never been the follow-up question.
"'What's the breakdown of the finances for this tour that you're promoting?'"
Moving the conversation on, Josh said: "It's really fun and my daughter's seven and she's a huge fan.
"I brought her to training to meet Karen [Hauer, Josh's professional partner] and that was really nice."
Speaking about signing up for the show, Josh said: “I am utterly terrified this will end in humiliation and worried I’m going to be so bad I will ruin Christmas for the nation.
"Why have I done this?”
Josh is most well-known for his time at the top of the British comedy circuit as well as his appearances on Channel 4 show The Last Leg.
He has been a team captain on the programme for over 30 series working alongside Adam Hills and Alex Brooker.
