Coleen Rooney makes frank admission about her marriage to husband Wayne before entering I’m A Celeb jungle
COLEEN Rooney has admitted she only sees her husband Wayne once a week.
The I'm A Celebrity star opened up about their long-distance marriage as they're forced to spend the majority of the week apart while ex-England footballer Wayne manages Plymouth Argyle.
“On the Sunday before I flew off, we all went to Klay’s football tournament, we came home and had dinner together so it was a nice family day.”
Admitting it was a tough decision to sign up for the ITV show, Coleen added: “It’s taken me so many years to agree to do the show because I’ve not wanted to leave the children for so long.
"I feel like I’m always doing, like I’m a mum, a wife, [and now] I feel like I can do something for me.

“I’m doing the show for me. I’m not doing it for anyone else. Not to win anyone over.
“What you see is what you get and if people like it, they like it, and if they don’t, they don’t. Everyone’s not everyone’s cup of tea.”
Five years ago, Coleen posted a long rant on social media accusing Becky of leaking stories to The Sun — something Becky always denied.
The resulting “Wagatha Christie” defamation case — brought by Becky Vardy — lasted for two-and-a-half months, with a judge deciding Coleen’s defence was “substantially true”.
A hugely successful Disney+ documentary series followed called Coleen Rooney: The Real Wagatha Story.
Now Coleen is being lined up to sign a £1million deal with ITV after her time in I'm A Celeb, The Sun on Sunday.
ITV bosses are said to be eager to snap her up for flagship daytime programme Loose Women — with the potential for her to do other shows such as a remake of her 2008 series Coleen’s Real Women.
I’m A Celebrity has helped reignite the careers of several celebs, including Myleene Klass and Stacey Solomon.
