A BBC Breakfast star was left flustered after a very awkward on-air exchange took place on Saturday morning’s show, leading a producer to step in.
BBC Breakfast's Charlie Stayt was taken by surprise as his co-host Nina Warhurst asked if he was “looking for a new job.”
As they delivered the day’s top stories, Nina said: “It's 12 minutes past 8, now if you are looking for a new job."
She then turned to Charlie and questioned: “Are you looking for a new job?"
Charlie appeared visibly perplexed by the probe, as he replied: “I wasn't expecting that.”
Nina could be seen laughing at Charlie’s confusion, as the weatherman Simon got involved.

Charlie said to him: “Umm I don't know, Simon help me, am I looking for a new job?"
Simon, who also looked slightly baffled by the conversation, jumped in reassuringly with: “I've not heard Charlie so just stay right there."
Despite the atmosphere, Nina went on: “I'm just putting it out there, just in case you were."
Charlie playfully reached for his phone and said: “Um should I call someone?”

Naga, 49, appeared to be oblivious to the wardrobe malfunction, before she leaned forward, appearing to hide it from the cameras.
However, fans at home flooded social media with comments as they begged her to 'sort it out'.
One said: "Naga, sort your wardrobe malfunction out. It's distracting."
