ALI BROMLEY has been crowned the winner of Big Brother 2024 as ITV have officially confirmed the show's return.

Fans tuned in on Friday night as AJ Odudu and Will Best hosted the live final after six weeks of house action.

A the end of the rushed final the hosting duo announced Ali had received the most votes and is this year's winner.

It means Marcello Spooks is this year's runner-up, leaving the house to a mix of cheers and boos.

Ali walks away with the remaining prize fund of £90,000 - with Segun having took £10k from the pot from a previous eviction task.

Reacting to her win, one fan said: "As a neurodivergent lesbian, seeing Ali win has filled my heart."

A second wrote: "She didn’t just win she WON!"

"Someone who actually deserves to win something. A rarity these days," commented a third.

The finale started as AJ and Will evicted Segun in sixth place and Nathan in fifth place.

Hanah was then given her marching orders to roars of cheers from the Big Brother crowd.

After another vote freeze Emma was announced in third place, visibly upset as she was greeted by the crowd

Fans of the reality show will get their fix once again as ITV confirmed Big Brother will return - and applications are now open.

It will mark 25 years of Big Brother in the UK, with Davina McCall having launched the reality show in 2000, at its original home in Bow, East London.

ITV are also bringing back Celebrity Big Brother, following its relaunch earlier this year.

"Together, Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother have grown audiences on ITV1 and ITV2 and amassed almost 100 million streams on ITVX.

"We’re therefore very excited to be able to throw open the House doors once again for another series of both Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother in 2025 which are sure to promise more unmissable entertaining and captivating moments.”
