Laura Vaughan’s MAFS diary: Luke’s vile letter was blatant harassment – I understand why Amy’s final vows were savage
THE reunion show kicked off in spectacular fashion with a drink being thrown, an explicit letter and a fiery clash between two brides.
But that's nothing surprising as Married At First reunions are never a quiet affair.
But it was Luke's filthy confession that left me feeling queasy.
Now I understand why Amy was so savage to Luke at their final vows.
Just for context, the couple parted ways at last night's final vows with Amy brutally declaring their marriage "deceased".
Upset Luke didn't lose hope though and sent Amy a turtle broach for a birthday gift after the show.

He allegedly sent her a note accompanying the gift, with a very rude final line.
Amy told the girls that Luke had written: "I wish I got down on my knees and terrorised your b*****e."
The shocking comment has not only shocked me but has left viewers open-mouthed and is quite frankly disgusting.
If you are as obsessed as Married At First Sight as I am, you need to keep reading, as I've got some thoughts…
I see that Luke has sent Amy a letter with a gift hoping to rekindle the romance, but in it he said that his only regret is that he didn't "terrorised your b*****e".
I can't believe I'm actually saying these words!
It's disgusting to send someone that you're no longer with that kind of letter and make them feel further uncomfortable because she's not enjoyed the innuendos.
This is quite blatant harassment.
I'm going to say it now, I don't believe him when he's all sweet and innocent and he's like 'I don't understand how that came across'.
I'm not buying it Luke, I think you're in this for the wrong reasons, I think you're playing a massive game.
I don't think you are as genuine and sweet as you come across because Amy has told you multiple times she doesn't like those comments, it's what he's been like behind-the-scenes.
I completely understand why Amy was so savage with her final vows and why she turned up in black because that's what that boy deserves.
For context, Luke told the boys that if she attended the reunion wearing it there could be hope for them to rekindle things, but if she didn't then it would appear to be game over.
Needless to say, Amy didn't wear the jewellery and coolly dismissed the present, with some viewers branding her cruel and cold.
However, when she revealed just why she was so angry with him, opinion shifted.
Amy recalled the contents of the letter: "I've been thinking about you. I miss you. I miss waking up next to you.
"It said 'I keep saying no regrets. I keep having one regret. When you were cooking I wish I got down on my knees and terrorised your b*****e."
"After that he said 'PS write to me. I'd like that."
The comment shocked just about everyone, with the experts branding it "inappropriate".
Hannah was showboating for a reaction
We see Hannah walk in with Ryan and I'm not exactly sure what the point of that was because they make this big thing about it that they've made this really strong connection and then they walk in and say 'no no no, we're just friends'.
I can't help but think that that was just for show and to put the cat amongst the pigeons and to get a response and provoke an argument from the girls.
I had Hannah's back during this, but I do feel she was stirring the pot and she is starting to get a bit addicted to the drama.
I mean own your s*** and be confident - but I really found it quite uncomfortable when she was showboating in front of Orson.
I think she was doing the most to get a rise out of the girls - and with these girls, it doesn't take much.
Holly's a bit rich dictating what can and can't be said
We see Holly really hold onto this 'don't talk about my children' thing. Unless something was said that wasn't seen, I don't really think saying 'would you be okay with your children being spoken to the way I was spoken to', is that bad?!
Am I missing something?
Every time Hannah's walked into a room, she's said 'look what the cat's dragged in', so I think it's a bit rich dictating what people can and can't say, especially when it wasn't even that bad.
They're only happy when they argue
It turned into the Polly show. Now Adam was so out of order for talking about their sex life or lack of sex life to the group and using it to mock her.
But we don't throw drinks...it's so aggressive.
We find out that Polly has been digging Adam out online, this has annoyed Adam - he thinks it's all about him.
It just seems that the argument has really continued and they just need to let each other go.
It's like if they're not arguing, they're not happy and they just want it to be all about them all the time.
Polly apologised for throwing her drink, because people have been thrown off MAFS for doing that.
I mean she had nothing left to lose at this point, but I think it was a last ditch attempt for drama.
Laura's verdict
At the ceremony, we see quite an emotional reunion for Kristina and Kieran. She seems to really still be in her feels for Kieran and their relationship.
Last night, Kieran told Kristina that he had started dating again since he left the experiment.
He admitted he had a shortlived romance with someone new that last around three weeks.
But his confession left Kristina in floods of tears, while the experts said it was was "not the time" to divulge that information.
I'm really sad that MAFS has come to an end for another year.

It's been a drama-filled season and I don't know how they're going to top it, because these contributors know how to make good TV.
Whether they were in it for love, I'm not sure, but they made great TV.
