I’m one of the Fun House twins – I ditched my TV career and work in a local Wetherspoons
Despite the significant career change, the former star is now happier than ever
FUN House brought entertainment to a whole generation of 90s kids watching TV after school.
The game show made a name for itself by featuring children as the contestants, who were tasked with taking on zany challenges while representing schools from around the UK.

Each episode featured two teams - both made up of a boy and a girl.
Pat Sharp hosted the show, while twin cheerleaders Melanie and Martina Grant cheered on the opposing teams.
Although Melanie is still recognised for her time on the ITV show, her life today could not be further from TV stardom.
Now 51, Melanie traded in a career on screen for a regular job at a local pub.

She works as a staff member at the largest Wetherspoons in the UK - which happens to be the Royal Victoria Pavilion in Ramsgate, Kent.
Despite going through such a big change Melanie has spoken about the career pivot in positive terms, sharing that her new job is great fit for her personality.
She said: "I love working at the pub.
"It's perfect for me as I grew up around here and I'm a real people person and always love a chat with the customers here."

The Fun House star also acknowledged that it is fun to be recognised from her glory days while pulling pints.
She added: "A lot of customers know me and recognise me from the show, and we have a lot of laughs and memories about it."

In 2017 it was reported that Fun House could be returning - as a theme park.
A crowdfunding campaign was launched to turn the iconic show into a live action event for adults.
Sadly, Pat Sharp was never granted the rights to create the immersive version.
