CORONATION Street star Alan Halsall has distanced himself from his former girlfriend Tisha Merry ahead of his stint on I'm A Celeb.
The Sun believes the actor's once close friendship with his ex of five years has taken a back seat since their split at the beginning of the year.
An insider told The Sun: "Alan and Trisha split pretty amicably, but Alan has been keen for a clean break and has well and truly moved on.
"They have a lot of the same friends and Alan has been spending lots of time with his Corrie co-stars and just concentrating on being a great dad."
Alan – who plays Tyrone Dobbs on the soap - was married to his co-star Lucy Jo-Hudson from 2009 until 2018.
They share a daughter called Sienna, aged 11.

A couple of months after their split, Lucy goes public with her new man Lewis Devine. The pair went onto have a son called Carter in 2020.
Meanwhile Alan moved on with Tisha - an actress who also worked on the ITV soap playing waitress Steph Britton.
They drifted apart at the start of this year, with insiders revealing they "weren't on the same page".
Those close to Alan insist there's "no bad blood" between the pair.
