Watch the shock moment Alison Hammond suffers awkward fall on Bake Off leaving viewers stunned
ALISON Hammond suffered an awkward fall during Bake Off as co-host Noel Fielding asked her if she was okay.
The 49-year-old was fronting the Channel 4 baking competition when she went flying to the ground.
With just five bakers remaining in the competition, Alison and Noel introduced 70s week to viewers.
Noel, 51, said: "Now it is the 70s week but it’s still a very serious, sophisticated show so we won’t be doing any of those cliches like disco balls – apart from Paul Hollywood’s.
"And we certainly won’t be doing lava lamps, as I said, this is a serious affair. Welcome to the Great British Bake Off."
This Morning star Alison then appeared in shot, excitedly bouncing on an orange space hopper.

At that point the Birmingham native then took a tumble and fell off onto the grass surrounding the Bake Off tent.
Noel rushed over and asked Alison "are you okay" as fans reacted on social media.
One gushed: "Alison Hammond is the best thing to happen to bake off and no one can change my mind, she’s so real."
But a second wasn't convinced, writing: "Alison falling over was so obviously scripted."
"Oh Alison, I bloody love you!!!! She’s a treasure. Her and Noel together are awesome too," said a third.
A fourth posted: "That was hilarious I’ve watched it 3 times."
Bake Off continues on Channel 4.
