Sad loss of his wife Jayne
Tragically, Alan's death came just two years after his wife Erin Jayne's suicide in May 2022.
One of her heartbroken friends previously admitted that she regretted not "trying harder" to return a call she missed from Erin in the days leading up to her death.
Danielle Lamour shared a heart-wrenching tribute in a public Facebook memorial group, referencing a home appliance company Erin previously promoted on TVSN.
She wrote: "Have watched this video over and over today to hear your laugh. It sums up our years spent as the 'Danoz girl'.
"You in front of the camera filled with charm, me behind it making you laugh and getting the best out of you.
"Will always regret not trying harder to return your call last week, should have tried a 2nd, 3rd, 4th time.
"So thankful we kept our friendship going over the years and were much more than 'old workmates'.
"You used to announce to the world that I was the best boss, but in reality, the best thing was you."
Erin and Alan are survived by their three daughters, who are now tragically orphaned.
You're Not Alone
EVERY 90 minutes in the UK a life is lost to suicide
It doesn’t discriminate, touching the lives of people in every corner of society – from the homeless and unemployed to builders and doctors, reality stars and footballers.
It’s the biggest killer of people under the age of 35, more deadly than cancer and car crashes.
And men are three times more likely to take their own life than women.
Yet it’s rarely spoken of, a taboo that threatens to continue its deadly rampage unless we all stop and take notice, now.
That is why The Sun launched the You’re Not Alone campaign.
The aim is that by sharing practical advice, raising awareness and breaking down the barriers people face when talking about their mental health, we can all do our bit to help save lives.
Let’s all vow to ask for help when we need it, and listen out for others… You’re Not Alone.
