LOVE Island star Malin Andersson was just moments from death yesterday as her £100k BMW went up in flames.
The 32-year-old has been left shaken and seeking answers after she was forced to pull her daughter Xaya from the year-old vehicle before it blew up.
Exhausted Malin told us: “I'm not usually affected by stuff, right? I've had the grief and all of that stuff happen to me, and I've kind of dealt with it, but never anything that’s put my own life with my daughter at risk. We were seconds from death.
“It's always been someone around me died, does that make sense? But to feel Xaya and me in that situation was just next level.
"But I can't believe that they'd allow a car like that on the road, a £100,000 car. I want answers.”
Malin – who had her car serviced just two months ago – was driving along the dual carriage way when she spotted a warning sign that said ‘engine failure’.

Xaya, two, told her mum she could smell smoke and Malin’s fight or flight mode kicked in.
She screeched to a halt, chucked her daughter on her back and ran from the car.
By some miracle, an ex soldier called Pete saw Malin running and bundled her and Xaya into his car for safety.
As she turned back to look, her car burst into flames – leaving her gobsmacked.

Recalling what happened, Malin told us: “Within two seconds, the car's smoking and Xaya goes “mummy, smelly’.
“I've just got out, slammed the door, grabbed Xaya and put her on my back like Santa Claus.”
“I've just run down the side of the dual carriageway.
“Out of nowhere, a man appears, a paramedic happened to be, like a blue flashing light, I'd love to know his name.
“And then an ex-soldier, an old ex-soldier that had an armed forces car that was armoured, grabbed me and said, get in the car.
“And then the car blew up and set on fire.”
Malin continued: “And I was like, what is the chance of two people being near me at that time, where I hadn't even had the chance to phone anyone yet, I was just running for my life for Xaya.”
Explaining how her daughter reacted, she said: “She didn't understand what was going on, and she started crying, and then she was screaming, and then I was crying and shaking, and she was just going, mummy breathe, mummy breathe in.”
Malin went to the BMW garage that night to tell them what had happened and to demand answers. BMW are currently investigating.
