Strictly’s JB Gill shares emotional tribute to wife on her birthday after avoiding dance off with Lauren
STRICTLY Come Dancing star JB Gill has shared an emotional tribute to his wife on her birthday, after avoiding the dance off with pro partner Lauren Oakley.
Lauren was announced as Amy Dowden's replacement, and she and JB performed a samba on Saturday night, which impressed just enough to keep them in the competition.
The judges were certainly smitten with the performance, with Shirley even going as far as to say: “That performance says to me I'm in it to win it and I'm not going anywhere.”
And after a nail biting weekend that saw celebs and their pro partners going through to the iconic Blackpool round, JB shared a sweet tribute to his wife Chloe.
It read: “My Baby, My Boo, My Wife I love celebrating birthday’s with you because you deserve the world and more.”
JB shared a black and white snap of himself and his ‘boo’ at Grand Central Station in New York sharing a kiss.

The JLS star continued: “I admire your tenacity for life, your ambition and drive, everyone who knows you knows how much you hold every single one of us down and I honestly could not do life without you.
“I am so proud of all you’ve achieved and continue to achieve. Although we don’t like to highlight the years, each one makes me even more grateful to you and for you.
“You are the jewel in the crown of our family and I love that you would give everything you have to see us win. Well today, we win by celebrating you. HAPPY BIRTHDAY
“It’s been an unconventional one this year but I did get 3 9’s and a 10 for you so thank you for giving me the grace to be able to do what I do.

“We’ll celebrate big very soon but know that I Love you and I can’t wait to share more moments and memories with you for the rest of our lives. Hope you had the best day and always remember that the three of us adore you 💛✨.”
JB’s wife has been a huge support to the star throughout the competition, and can often be seen attending rehearsals and making playful videos with her husband.
Chloe is a dancer herself and the British star has been dancing since she was just three-years-old before landing her first professional dance job when she was 18.
Chloe and JB tied-the-knot back in January 2014 after four years of being together.
The couple met when Chloe was a back-up dancer for JB’s pop band JLS – while the singer described the big day as “the best day of my life”.
Chloe and JB wed on the Scottish Island of Bute with JLS bandmates Aston Merrygold, Marvin Humes and Oritse Williams in attendance.
Strictly stars at risk of the axe in 2025

In 2017 she lifted the Glitterball with Joe McFadden.
The following year she was at the heart of a show scandal after snogging her dance partner, the comedian Seann Walsh.
