Strictly star Nadiya Bychkova being comforted by celeb partner Tom Dean after split from fellow pro Kai Widdrington
Tom broke up with his girlfriend, Charlotte Phillips, just weeks into the current series
NADIYA BYCHKOVA is being comforted by dance partner Tom Dean following her split from fellow Strictly pro Kai Widdrington.
The 35-year-old beauty has enjoyed lunch dates with the Olympic swimmer, who sources say has been her “rock”.
Nadiya also joined Tom, 24, and his sister Connie for a night out at Bocconcino restaurant in London’s Mayfair on Wednesday night.
The Ukrainian dancer split from Kai, 29, in July after two years.
Meanwhile, Tom broke up with his girlfriend, Charlotte Phillips, just weeks into the current series, in which he was the first star voted off.
A source said: “Nadiya and Tom have comforted each other following their break-ups.
“They both love golf and have been going for lunches after their early Strictly exit.
“Nadiya and Tom were both gutted that they didn’t go further in the competition, but have been able to get to know each other away from the dancefloor.”
They added: “Nadiya has always said that Tom is a complete gentleman.
“He’s been a rock to her since she split from Kai.”
On their night out, Nadiya was spotted showing Tom and his sister an X-ray of her thumb after breaking it during rehearsals.
But her injury didn’t stop her performing an impromptu routine with fellow pro Carlos Gu, 31, at the Italian restaurant.
