Coronation Street star making shock comeback a YEAR after quitting cobbles
A CORONATION Street star is making a shock comeback a year after quitting the cobbles.
Seamus McGoff played the role of tearaway teen Matty Radcliffe during his time on the hit soap, and he’s set for a comeback.
Character Matty was last seen on screen in October 2023, in a storyline with Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) and Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard).
He’ll make his return this month and will feature heavily in a forthcoming storyline, which sees him steal from Street regulars Sally and Tim Metcalfe
Seamus announced the exciting news on his social media as he posed on some stairs and penned: “Thank you for having me back on the cobbles playing Matty Radcliffe!
ya better tell Mason to watch his back.”
Corrie legend Sally Dynevor replied: “Well done Seamus xxx.”

Other fans were delighted about the return of Matty Radcliffe, as one person wrote: “That’s brilliant you two both on there … you will be amazing.”

On the show next week, Sally Metcalfe is set to take matters into her own hands after the recent burglary involving Mason Radcliffe in Coronation Street.
Upset over the loss of her mother’s ring, Sally clashes with Tim for allowing Mason into their home in upcoming scenes on the ITV soap.
