Watch hilarious moment Romesh Ranganathan tells his mum off live on Parents’ Evening – and in front of Mel B
ROMESH Ranganathan hilariously told off mum Shanthi on a new ITV show - in front of legendary star Mel B.
The comic and actor, 46, hosts Saturday night game show Parents' Evening.
The format sees celebrities team up with their sons, daughters, mums or dads to win money for their chosen charities.
Meanwhile, Shanthi is on hand to keep an eye on her son as well as oversee the scores.
One episode features Richard Madeley, Jonathan Ross and Mel B as the celebrity guests.
However, Romesh had some critiques for his mother for her announcing abilities.

Mid-way in the show, the presenter asked Shanthi for an update on everyone's progress.
With Mel B and her daughter Phoenix in last place, she replied: "Phoenix and Mel has zero points."
Interrupting, Romesh remarked: "Can I just say, that's not quite the energy. They're doing badly."
He suggested: "Sound a bit sadder."
Taking her son's advice, Shanthi then read: "Phoenix and Mel - nothing", while sounding glum.
As Romesh laughed, this earned her a round of applause from the studio audience.
Continuing, Shanthi then said: "Chloe and Richard got £300", adding a slight upbeat energy to her delivery.
Last but not least, she exclaimed: "Honey and Jonathan got £400", as her son encouraged Shanthi to go louder.
Aside from her famous son, Shanthi has become a beloved figure in her own right.
Parents' Evening marks their latest team-up - although she's previously appeared in shows such as Asian Provacateur and The Ranganation, among others.
Other stars signed up to Parents' Evening include boxer and I'm A Celeb's Tony Bellew - who joined alongside son Corey.
Love Island narrator Iain Stirling and his mum Alison team up in the show.
