I'M A Celeb bosses have scrapped the terrifying Walk the Plank challenge for this year's opening show.
The stars usually do the task atop a 314 ft high building before they are whisked into camp.
Now an even more terrifying challenge is set to open the show.
Over the years the hit ITV show has had it's fair share of horrifying bushtucker trials that has left viewers and the celebs alike speechless.
Let’s take a look back at some of the most terrifying trials in I’m A Celeb history.
TABLE OF TORMENT
Vernon Kay - Series 20

In 2020 I’m A Celeb had shifted to Wales but the trials were still tough as ever and Vernon Kay’s Table of Torment proved that even without the jungle the show could still deliver some serious scares.
Vernon, 50, was strapped to a table where he was covered head-to-toe in thousands of bugs including 11,000 cockroaches, spiders and scorpions and rotten fruit and veg in a truly stinky affair.
CELEBS ASSEMBLE
Jacqueline Jossa - Series 19
In 2019 EastEnders star Jacqueline Jossa, 32, faced a serious fear of heights in the Celebs Assemble trial which required her to take on a terrifying 100-foot drop.

As if being hoisted that high wasn’t enough Jacqueline was placed in a glass box filled with creepy critters and then had to brace herself for a free fall drop that had her screaming in terror as she held on to one last final star of the trial.
TEMPLE OF DOOM
Dean Gaffney - Series 6
Dean Gaffney, 46, was absolutely terrified when he was sealed inside a cave-like tomb full of cockroaches toads, rats, and spiders, back in 2006.
The trial was a re-make of Paul Burrell's Temple of Doom and was just as horrendous.
Though he screamed all the way through his horrifying ordeal the actor still managed to win impressive five out of six meals for the camp.
LITTLE HOUSE ON THE SCARY
Kendra Wilkinson- Series 14
American reality star Kendra Wilkinson, 39, took on the Little House on The Scary trial in 2014.
She was locked inside a tiny cabin as she search in for the stars in cupboards filled with some of the jungle's creepiest critters.
Too add on top of this the house was suspended so high in the air it could only be accessed by a rope ladder.
DANGER DOWN UNDER
Joe Swash - Series 8
Back in 2008 Joe Swash, 42, took on a terrifying bushtucker trial that was a claustrophobic horror show.
Joe was forced to face the deep fear of being buried alive for 10 whole minutes.
Not only this he was accompanied by rats and as the underground coffin is filled with water eels are also added in.
HELMETS OF HELL
Lady Colin Campbell - Series 15
In this trial Lady C, 75, had to wear a helmet which had an accompaniment of creatures including 40 spiders and 50 scorpions as she tried to win some some meals for camp.
The royal stayed absolutely silent throughout the whole ordeal things only got worse when she was then seen having a nest of giant green ants placed on her head.
BUSHTUCKER BONANZA
Ferne Mcann - Series 15
In one of the shows most memorable challenges The Only Way Is Essex star was shown chomping down a live water spider in a stomach-churning eating challenge.
Ferne, 33, first curled the spider into a cup before throwing it back and eating the spider whole whilst its legs emerged from her mouth, the conversational trial sparked backlash over animal cruelty.
WORLD'S END
Amir Khan - I'm A Celeb spin off South Africa
Amir Khan, 37, who is terrified of heights was left in agony when he tackled the highest trial in the show’s history last year.
The boxing champion was joined by actress Helen Flanagan and TV presenter Carol Vorderman in South Africa as they’re forced to walk the plank and balance on huge red balls suspended some 840 m - 2,760 ft - in the air.
The trio took a terrifying climb over a cliff in a bid to unhook stars and attach them to themselves.
FORT LOCKS
Sir Mo Farah - Series 20

The Olympian was voted to do the gruesome Fort Locks trial the trial involved him placing his hands into a series of vaults full of critters to unlock stars.
Throughout the gruesome trial Ant and Dec were left in stitches as Sir Mo, 41, screamed his way through the challenge even at one point slipping on a pile of rotten meat.
