Legendary 90s comic Tommy Cannon poses with 6ft 6in tall offspring and asks Gary Barlow ‘can I join the giant son club?’
TOMMY Cannon has posed with his 6ft 6in tall offspring, asking Gary Barlow if he can 'join the giant son club'.
90s comic Tommy, 86, waded in after the Take That singer’s eldest child, 24, became an internet sensation from a viral family photo.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, the 5ft 11 star posted an image of himself with his youngest child Luke, 28, who towers over him at 6ft 6.
In his caption, he joked: "@GaryBarlow can I join the giant son club?"
Luke, whose mum is Tommy's second wife Hazel, later took to the platform with a solo photo.
Now boasting 2,236 followers, he wrote: "This is overwhelming how much my tallness has taken!

"Thank you for the follows and likes, guess being 6ft6 has its perks! Sorry dad @TheTommyCannon."
He went on to share another shot with his famous father, writing: "Another picture to clarify how tall I actually am @TheTommyCannon #TallSonClub #CannonandTall."
Former X Factor judge Gary left fans blinking after a picture emerged of him standing next to his wife Dawn Andrews, Daniel and their daughters Emily, 22, and Daisy, 15, this week.
The picture has racked up more than six million views online as fans marvel at the 6ft 2in student towering over Gary, who is just 5ft 7in.
While it is above average for men in the UK, Daniel is far shorter than the tallest man in the world.
Their height isn't the only big difference between them, as Gary revealed his children have decided to snub fame.
"Every day I still enjoy what I do and when you realise you’re making a living from it, it’s a great, great place to be.
"Many roles in 'showbiz' are just wonderful, there’s definitely a much harder world out there than the one I’m in I think."
The 90s heartthrob often keeps his family life private and away from the spotlight.
The singer is married to backup dancer Dawn, who was on tour with Take That in 1995.
After five years together, the pair married in 2000, and have remained together ever since.
Gary and Dawn were were left devastated in 2012 following the stillbirth of their daughter Poppy.
The star opened up about Poppy's tragic death in his autobiography last year, explaining: "For anyone who has been through anything like this I think it’s something you accept you’re going to be dealing with the rest of your life.
"In a strange way you don’t want it to end because it’s one of the few things you have to remind you of the person that’s not there.
"In some ways the pain and the grief brings you closer to them."
