STRICTLY Come Dancing professional Nancy Xu has dashed hopes of rekindling her friendship with Carlos Gu, according to a body language expert.
The former best friends have unfollowed each other on social media and are refusing to speak after a secret fallout.
This weekend they were seen standing on separate sides of host Claudia Winkleman - following in the footsteps of exes Kai Widdrington and Nadiya Bychkova.
Speaking on behalf of , body language expert Darren Stanton told The Sun: “Nancy and Carlos were seen standing far apart from each other during this week’s show.
"We have seen a change in their usual dynamic. Nancy doesn’t look happy and seems to be distracted.
"We can’t see her making a conscious effort to engage with him in this group setting.

"The fact they were standing that far apart from each other is an indicator of the distance between them right now.
"We also couldn’t see either of them engage in prolonged eye contact, meaning they were avoiding eye contact altogether.
“When they were all cheering and dancing, we saw Nancy’s smiles were slightly forced, which reveals she feels tense.
"When looking at her posture, Nancy turned herself away from facing Carlos a few times - suggesting she was actively putting up a wall.

"Carlos also suggests an awkwardness. He looks distant from Nancy, displaying no reciprocal liking.”
Nancy, 33, and Carlos, 31, who both grew up in China, used to be best mates — with him branding her his “favourite sister” and Nancy calling him “my baby brother”.
Their rift comes while he is said to be disappointed at not getting a celebrity partner this year — and Nancy has been focused on her pairing with Shayne Ward, 40.
The Sun on Sunday revealed Carlos has wiped all pictures of her from his profile.
They've also unfollowed each other on Instagram - the ultimate finality in their friendship.
