Future of popular BBC daytime series with Strictly star revealed after 16 series on air
THE future of a popular BBC daytime series has been revealed after 16 series on air.
Bosses at the broadcaster are bringing back Angela Rippon's Rip Off Britain to screens.
The hit series - which began in 2009 - tackles consumers who have been ripped off.
It also alerts viewers to watch out for rip-offs that are currently on the market.
The show, which airs mid-mornings on BBC One, is also presented by Julia Somervile and Gloria Hunniford.
A total of 552 episodes of Rip Off Britain have been produced to date.

Beeb bosses have now put out a call for members of the public to get in touch for the 17th series.
They said: "If you've been struggling to get a complaint resolved and no one's giving you the answers you need, please let us know.
"And it could be your story that Angela Rippon, Gloria Hunniford and Julia Somerville investigate on the programme."
Meanwhile, Angela Rippon was recently celebrated by the BBC as she marked her 80th birthday.
