Take Me Out fans demand bosses bring the show back saying ‘Saturday nights are not the same!’
FANS of Take Me Out have begged for show bosses to bring it back to screens for Saturday night entertainment.
The pleas from fans of the ITV dating show come after host Paddy McGuinness shared a picture from a fan that linked to the series.
Sharing a picture to his Instagram, he explained: "Sent to me from a holiday maker in Palma Nova, Mallorca. Give the owner my best."
The picture showed a restaurant named 'Fernando's' giving a nod to the ITV show, and with a cheeky tagline of "Let the chicken see the grill".
Fans flooded the comment section as they wished Take Me Out would return to screens, as one commented: "Haha brilliant!! … this show needs to come back …was brilliant on it’s simplicity."
Another shared: "Cmon @itv bring back Take me Out with @mcguinness.paddy."

"Bring the show back!!!!!!" begged another.
A fourth added: "We need the show back on a Saturday night!"
The dating show, which ran on ITV on Saturday nights, saw a group of women all lined up with light up stands waiting for a potential male date to come down the lift.
As the man would tell them about his life and what he looked for in a woman, the girls could then keep their light on if they liked what they saw or switch it off to say they're not interested.
The man would eventually choose his date from the final two women, before they were whisked away to the fictional island of 'Fernando's' for a date.
The show first aired in January 2010, but was confirmed to have been axed after eleven seasons in 2020. It was thought the show had been cancelled after ratings started to dip whilst it aired on a Saturday night.
At the time, an ITV spokesperson told The Sun: "We’ve decided to say goodbye to Take Me Out.
"ITV and Paddy have done all the specials you can eke out of a dating show, so it’s been decided it’s time for it to go.
"As with many shows, ratings have slid a bit in recent years. But it will go down as a big success — it’s had more weddings than Blind Date."
