Boxing legend joins I’m A Celebrity 2024 line-up after Ally McCoist quits
BOXING legend Barry McGuigan has signed up for I'm A Celebrity 2024.
Sporting legend has caved into Ant and Dec's pleas to sign up.
It is almost four decades since 19million people tuned in to watch Barry beat Panamanian Eusebio Pedroza at Loftus Road in 1985.
Now millions will watch him every night on ITV when the juggernaut show returns on November 16.
The Sun revealed the full line-up today including the boxing promoter, who previously mocked Amir Khan for failing a grim Bushtucker Trial on the ITV show.
A jungle insider said: "Barry is a knockout signing for the show and complements the line up which, so far, has been dominated by strong women.
Barry follows in the footsteps of Amir and Tony Bellew, who had huge success on the show.
The Irish star signed up after Ally McCoist pulled out of final talks to enter the jungle.
His decision infuriated his wife so much that she temporarily stopped speaking to him.

A source told : "Ally has such a huge fan base thanks to his years of commentating and punditry, plus his long stint on A Question of Sport.
“He’d be great for the jungle - as his wife and kids have been telling him forever - so everyone is really hopeful that this will be the year.”
