AN UPCOMING episode of Coronation Street will see Kit Green try to cover up his recent manipulation.

The policeman recently plied Ryan with alcohol in an attempt to find out more information about his ex girlfriend Daisy - so Kit can court her himself.

Daisy fell for the act and has been falling head over heels for Kit with his insider knowledge of her favourite shows and snacks.

However, she starts to become suspicious when she sees an empty bottle of whiskey at her new beau's house as she's helping him pack.

Ryan warns Daisy that Kit has been quizzing him about her and is using underhand tactics to win her affection.

When Daisy quizzes him about the whiskey, rather than admitting that he used it to get Ryan drunk, Kit pretends he was so devastated after Paul's funeral that he turned to drink.

On the crime front, there have been new developments in the search for Joel Deering's killer, and Kit is right in the middle of it all.

DS Lisa Swaine is responsible for investigating the twisted lawyer's death alongside Kit.

However, she comes under suspicion when Kit discovers an unsent message on her phone suggesting she wanted Joel dead.

He confronts her, demanding to know where she was the night Joel went missing.

Will she turn out to be the killer after pinning the blame on Ronnie?
