Daisy, 38, is arguably best known for taking on the role of Kerry Mucklowe in BB3's This Country.

Now, the actress could end up trying to figure out who is a Faithful and who is a Traitor in the celeb version of The Traitors.

A source told : “Daisy is perfect for the Traitors.

"Obviously her acting talents will help if she has to convince everyone she is not a Traitor, but she’s also really likeable and great fun, so she would make a great Faithful as well.”

More on The Traitors

And it's not the first time she's taken part in a programme like The Traitors.

She had to keep her identity a secret while taking part in ITV's The Masked Singer last year.

Viewers were shocked when she revealed herself as Otter in the singing competition, where the judging panel and viewers had fun trying to figure out who was behind each costume.

Back in 2019, Daisy also appeared on Would I Lie To You.

It comes after The Sun also revealed in January that the Beeb commissioned a celeb spin-off of its ratings hit.

Earlier this month the start of the line-up was revealed, and includes a US star and Team GB champ.

Emotional Daisy May Cooper breaks down in floods of tears live on Loose Women

The Traitors hit our screens back in 2022.

The programme is hosted by Claudia Winkleman.

The show follows a group of people who have to figure out who is a Traitor in the group, while the rest of them are Faithfuls.

The first season was won by Faithfuls Aaron Evans, Hannah Byczkowski and Meryl Williams, while last year it was won by Traitor Harry Clark.

Viewers don't have long to wait as a third season was confirmed earlier this year.

It comes after Daisy revealed that she was duped into joining a swingers club as she tried to indulge her love of the paranormal.

She hoped to fulfil a lifelong ambition of becoming a sorceress during lockdown and even took part in a Zoom interview to push her credentials.

She passed the process with the group’s High Priest and Priestess — aka Brian and Karen.

The pair then asked if she was comfortable being “naked” and having “orgasms” in front of other people at their house.

The penny dropped. Daisy said: “My brain went into reverse trust as realisation dawned. Brian and Karen were swingers or doggers, or maybe both.”

Earlier this month Daisy broke down in floods of tears live on Loose Women during an emotional interview.

The star appeared on the ITV show to discuss her late co-star and childhood friend Michael Sleggs, who died in 2019.

She shared: "When Michael was dying, he was in so much pain and agony and he was terrified.

"He phoned me said he wasn't scared anymore and he had an angelic spirit kind of being that came to me and said 'in seven days I would have a new body, which means I'm either going to get better or going to pass away but I'll be free of this pain.

"And he died within seven days. I think that's extraordinary. There are so many things you can't explain."
