The YouTube star said she and basketball player Zach needed the time apart to help them iron out their relationship issues.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun, Molly said: "It's great at the moment, we absolutely [needed that time apart], we're stronger than ever and after moving in together, things are definitely going in the right direction.

"It's what we needed, it's going really well."

When asked if all their issues have been ironed out, Molly shared: "Yes, it's all good, we're very happy now."

The smitten couple have started a whole new chapter after moving in together and are supporting each other on their new ventures.

Zach has also helped inspire Molly with her big career move.

The musical theatre performer has released her brand new single titled Werewolf TODAY - just in time for Halloween with it's edgy tune.

She told us: "I've literally had the best support ever, Zach wrote the title for Werewolf for the cover photo and helped me with lyrics because sometimes I can get stressed and he'll then talk to me, which is amazing because this song is before the show and before we dated, it's amazing that he can be so supportive."

Molly said she's put her all into this song after keeping it under wraps for nearly a year.

She continued: "It's been a year [of planning], it was hard to not say anything. I've been working at a studio in Jersey and a lot of flight.

"Every time I've been on a flight, I've been meeting people and I bet they're thinking 'what I'm doing...'

"I've been very excited to drop little hints and I think I've done it quite well."

Molly said her beau will be a huge part of her music and her future tracks - hinting a single about her love life could be on the cards.

"Zach's going to come out next time to the studio, because I actually want him in the room with me," she revealed.

"When I come home, we have such great conversations about lyrics and he'll say something and I go 'I wish I thought about that when I was there.

"He's going to come out next time and get more involved. He's a great support."

Molly said she used her personal heartbreak and relationship woes before Love Island as the inspiration for this track.

"There was one day where we were sat in the studio and we just started to have conversations about stories and things we love and hate," she said.

"I started talking about life before Love Island and boys and dating. I said it was so frustrating because you start talking to a boy and they never talk to you during the day and only talk to you at night.

"The vocal coach said 'a bit like a Werewolf and only out when the moon is out', we kind of had a moment like 'that was cool'.

"We wrote down Werewolf and went with how guys dating can be like a Werewolf.

"It sounded cool, quirky and different and we loved it."

Molly said she's already been inundated with positive reaction from her fans less than 24 hours after her song was released on all major platforms.

The star is now looking forward to a future in the pop industry and has a number of musicians she'd love to collaborate with.

Molly teased: "I absolutely love Chappell Roan, I've been talking about her a lot in the studio as inspiration. How she sings and has a quirky edge and is really different but it works.

"i love Olivia Rodrigo, Tate McRae, Sabrina Carpenter - all of the people who have really nailed the pop.

"But also young, who speak about such relatable things that I really want to hit that edge with and I really hope this track does."

"We're going to see how this one goes, we definitely have more underway and there's definitely our favourites within those and I'm excited for those to come out."

The Love Island alumni said her biggest inspiration growing up was Miley Cyrus and Meghan Trainor, saying: "I looked up to them, they gave great positive energy from their music.

"I love performing and I think after doing my musical theatre course, you're trained to sing quite operatic, which is so different to now to how I'm singing a pop style.

"The more relatable quirky route the better, it's out of my comfort zone. When we were trying to get the sound for the Werewolf, I was howling some really weird noises down the mic, it was so much fun, nothing is taken too seriously."

Molly rekindled her romance with Zach in May and the pair have gone from strength to strength ever since.

She shared her excitement after buying her first property and plans to renovate it so her best friend can rent it.

Molly and Zach also took the leap to move in together earlier this year after buying their own home.

It was reported that last year that she was the highest earning star of her series, raking in £750,000.

Fans have been gripped by her romance with Zachariah after they met on the show.

The pair recently returned from a trip around Australia together.
