Celebrity Gogglebox reveals England footballer and I’m A Celeb star as final names for new series

One of the stars admitted that he will be prepared to fight over the remote

CELEBRITY Gogglebox has revealed the final names for the new charity special.

The National Television Award-winning Channel 4 show has brought on two new celebs to join the star-studded lineup.

Previous stars to sign on for the new episodes of Gogglebox include, Miriam Margolyes, Lesley Joseph, David Baddiel and Frank Skinner.

England footballer Jordan Pickford and I'm A Celebrity star Tony Bellew have been revealed to be joining the show for Stand Up To Cancer.

The pair will sit together on the Celebrity Gogglebox sofa as they watch some of the nation's favorite shows.

Footballer Jordan gushed about the show and his friend as he exclaimed: "I’m buzzing to join my mate Tony on our Gogglebox sofa for Stand Up to Cancer.

"It's not often you get to watch and chat about TV, while also making a difference."

He added: "Everyone has been affected by cancer, so we wanted to do our bit to support this campaign which speeds up lifesaving cancer research."

Meanwhile, Tony admitted: "Jordan better not be thinking of starting any fights over the remote – I think we both know who would win that one!

"It’s going to be an amazing evening – what a great chance to kick back with one of my mates and enjoy some of the weeks’ best TV, all whilst helping raise money for a good cause."

It has gone on to fund 73 clinical trials and other research projects which involved more than 13,000 patients and has led to breakthroughs in treatment.

Celeb Gogglebox star puts incredible £1.8m home up for sale

Dame Kristin Scott Thomas will also be part of the watch-along as she will film her segments with Slow Horses star Saskia Reeves.

She explained: "As a long standing Gogglebox watcher I am beyond happy to find myself joining the Gogglebox family, sitting on a sofa watching telly along with my lovely friend Saskia Reeves.
