Beloved comedian lands huge TV special to celebrate epic 25 year career
A CHERISHED comedian is set to celebrate a quarter of a century of stand-up comedy with a huge TV special.
Michael McIntyre fans can enjoy his brand new worldwide sold-out 'Macnificent' show on their televisions thank to the release of a brand new comedy special, which is coming to BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
The multi-award-winning Michael McIntyre’s 25th Year Stand-up Special (1 x 55’) was filmed at the iconic London Palladium.
It features a hilarious evening of Michael’s observations of everyday life.
Commenting on the news Michael, who presents BBC's The Wheel game show, said: “I’ve had an amazing 25 years since my first stand-up gig and the BBC have been such a huge part of that, giving me some wonderful stages on which to perform from Live at the Apollo, to Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow and Michael McIntyre’s Big Show."
He added: "Which is why it’s so befitting and such an honour to be celebrating this milestone with this stand-up special of all new jokes on BBC One and iPlayer.”

Michael McIntyre's Big Show has ran for six seasons so far and sees Michael interact with various celebrities.
The show also showcases musical performances and stand up from comedians.
